As much as you might love your job, there’s a pretty good chance that CBS Sports Fantasy Football analyst Jamey Eisenberg loves his more. That’s because your hobby is his life.
“It’s funny,” Eisenberg said on CBS Sports Radio’s Gio and Jones. “This is now 10 years of doing this, and every July it’s like you get excited for the start of it. It becomes a grind during the year, as anything does, but now we’re at the stretch run and I’m like, ‘Oh, no, it’s going to end!’ Hopefully it keeps going for another 10 years and people keep asking me fantasy questions because it’s the best.”
Eisenberg answered numerous questions during his segment on Gio and Jones, both from the hosts and listeners. One fantasy football player asked Eisenberg which two receivers he would start this week out of Michael Thomas (at Carolina), Terrelle Pryor (against Pittsburgh) and Mike Wallace (at Dallas).
“I think Michael Thomas is my favorite of the group,” Eisenberg said. “We’ve seen him be the best Saints receiver outdoors. I think that game will be a typical Saints game where they’re throwing a lot. I’m a little bit nervous about Terrelle Pryor just because of the quarterback situation in Cleveland, but I think he’s probably your best bet as a second guy.”
